We had the chance to check out a local fun center called Monkey Joe's recently while my brother was visiting with his family. Scott and his cousin Ben had a blast jumping in all the inflatable playgrounds and sliding to their hearts content. What a great, cheap way (5 bucks) to burn off some energy!

Cow Appreciation Day
Chick-fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day is a great day for families to be silly, have some fun and get some free food as well. There is one simple rule...if you dress like a cow you get your meal on the house! I had a great time creating little homemade costumes for the boys with some things we had here at home. Here are some photos from our awesome evening!
Scott was so excited!
Simple as that.

Summer Cut
I know I know, I haven't blogged in a looooooooooong time, but I have been spending some time trying to get my thousands of photos organized and catching up with a family photo website that I had neglected for some time. I'm slowly making progress but I figured a few photos here and there on my blog won't take up too much of my time. It's hard to believe Scott is 32 months old and Colin is already into his 6th month! They're growing fast and moving right along. Time has really flown! Summer is in full swing and the boys are having a blast! Anyway, last week Scott's long locks combined with the heat led me to do something I never thought I'd do....cut my own kid's hair! We were staying with my parents for a few days and my dad mentioned he had some clippers...once I heard that I never turned back. It's hot, I saved 15 bucks and most importantly....it will grow back! Take a look...
All done, just a few scarce patches!
post haircut treat
Colin found the whole show quite amusing!
