Cold, Yummy, and MESSY! 5/31/11

That pretty much describes Scott's first ice cream cone.  We stopped on our way home from Memorial Day weekend in NJ at an ice cream parlor in Mt Gretna, PA called The Jigger Shop http://www.jiggershop.com/ .  It was a wonderful place full of memorabilia, charm, and great ice cream!  Here are some photos of Scott enjoying his cool treat!

Take Cover! 5/26/11

So, this is what we were seeing on the news all evening.  A really big storm cell moved through our area tonight causing midnight black skies at 7:30 pm, hail, wind and tons of lightning.  For the first time ever we took cover in the basement just to be safe.  Surprisingly, the power only flashed once and we were in the clear after about half an hour.  From what I can tell, our house and yard have no real damage.  What a Thursday night adventure!  (I think Scott is still excited over the whole ordeal, it's now after 9:30 pm and he's still up telling stories and singing songs in his crib!  He better fall asleep soon, it's almost my bedtime!)

Someday, I'll gain back the organizational skills I once had....until then, I'll try to embrace the chaos!

18 months! 5/5/11

18 months ago our world changed!  We were blessed with a wonderful son who has brought us nothing but happiness!

Central Park 5/2/11

Just loving this photo of Scott!  I took him to NYC this past weekend and we spent most of the day in Central Park with my good friend Anthony.  I do believe climbing on benches was the highlight of my little boy's day!
