Reducing Cabin Fever 2/17/11

It was a great day for the park.  Scott loved the playground and picking up pinecones from under the trees!  Spring is on it's way, I can feel it!

The Dungeon 2/26/11

We have a basement.

It doesn't look like this

or this

or even this.

Our basement looks like this...

and this...

But there is a small section of our subterranean storage space that we have carved out for our little guy.  It's nothing more than a carpeted corner of the basement with lots of toys, toys, music, books and toys, but he loves it.  I've received lots of recycled tot furniture from school and put it to good use.  We take Scott down there sometimes to play and hours can go by without us even realizing it.  Someday we may finish the dungeon or just move on to a new house, but for now I'm happy that he's happy in his basement baby cave!

Take a look...

Who could complain when there is a slide involved????

Date Night 2/23/11

Sean and I went to Confit tonight ( http://www.confitfrenchbistro.com/ ).  It's a great little french bistro in Camp Hill.  We had a really nice time and a wonderful meal!  Sean started with onion soup and I chose a bibb salad with Roquefort cheese and walnuts.  For the main course I had a delicious Boeuf Bourguignon served with a side of Gruyere macaroni and Sean enjoyed Boeuf Crepes.  I had the pot de creme for dessert which was so delicious (basically a chilled creme brule topped with fresh berries).  Sean chose the chocolate bouchon....yum!  We came home stuffed and talking about what we would try the next time we can get there.  If you know me, you know I'd love to go to France someday...until I can get there, I'm glad I can spend time at great places like this.  We had a really nice night.  Special thanks to Caitlin for taking care of our little man for a few hours!

Here are a few low quality photos from my cell phone....(I didn't want to embarrass Sean by taking pics in the restaurant with our ginormous camera)

This dessert was not only decadent and delicious, but look how cute it is!
