Countdown to Disney!

Less than 2 months until our Disney vacation!  Ok, I am super excited about this trip not only because I love Disney World so much, but mostly because we are taking the boys for their first time.  Now, I know some people criticize parents who bring very young children to the happiest place on earth because they won't remember it, or they can be a handful, but I feel totally prepared to enjoy this trip with my tiny ones!  I will be armed with my camera as usual and I can't wait to see Scott's face light up when he sees all the magical details Disney has to offer!  He is already talking about riding the monorail and the steam train and meeting some characters.  Even if he doesn't remember his first trip years down the road, he will have photo memories and memories from the stories we share with him.  Colin will be 2 months old when we travel and he will sleep through most of the trip I'm sure, how easy will that be?  We purchased a nice double stroller and we can't wait to take advantage of the convenience it will provide.  My boys are very lucky that both sets of their grandparents will be joining them on this vacation...I'm sure they are all as happy as we are to experience the smiles and happy moments that are sure to come!
Now, I am sure I will post again about this upcoming trip and all that we have planned, but today I wanted to share some photos (not taken by me)  of one of the special things we will be doing while in Disney World.  We will be having a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort.  I have eaten here a few times before and absolutely love it.  It's a wonderful restaurant tucked away on the end concourse of the Contemporary with wonderful views of the monorail gliding through the resort.  It is a buffet breakfast with everything you can think of from scrambled eggs to Mickey waffles.  Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy are all present and available for countless photo ops!  I think Scott is going to have a blast eating here and meeting the characters!  Sean has never been inside the Contemporary and is excited for that as well.  Hopefully we can follow our big meal with a ride around the monorail loop (maybe even sit in the front car).

Bring on the chocolate chip pancakes!
